Dr. Acker is totally wonderful. Knowledgeable, thorough, sensitive, kind and open to input and participation from our family. She took time with us to answer all questions and concerns and has just a lovely bedside manner. It can be so frightening when your child is hospitalized - and Dr. Acker made us feel we were in the best possible hands.

Dr. Acker is by far one of the BEST doctors we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. When my son was 6, he got septic shock. She was there with us during the entire process of recuperation. She was so helpful and always available to us. These last few weeks my son has been having pain again on his leg and we did not hesitate to go see her. She again was so helpful and thoughtful. We love her so much and are so grateful for always being such a helpful hand to us. There are many doctors out there but none like her. She is phenomenal.

Dr. Acker was great in explaining and answering all questions we had. I left the office feeling super confident in the information and care for my child.

Dr. Acker was kind enough to accommodate my son's appointment in a way that was more convenient for me and my other appointments in Manhattan. I am grateful for her and the scheduling desk's efforts in coordinating with the other surgeons' office to find a day that worked for my family, so we wouldn't have to miss more school and work. To find an office that cares about patients is rare, and my experience with Dr Acker and the scheduling desk was above and beyond. Thank you!!!
