Risa Alperin, M.D.

Dr. Alperin has provided pediatric rheumatology care in the Omaha metro area over the past two years, and my son has been under her care during that time. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough, and her expertise has been invaluable to our family. Pediatric rheumatology is a critical and limited specialty, and we saddened that Children’s will no longer be continuing Dr. Alperin’s services. The quality and continuity of care she provides are greatly appreciated.

Dr. Risa Alperin was my youngest's doctor for 6-9 months, when she was employed in Omaha NE at Children's Hospital. She was the most thorough doctor that either of my daughters have ever had. She spent twice the time, had so many questions, rich hands on approach, and a focused thought process to dig into my kiddo to figure out what we could not determine. We would have loved for her to continue to walk with our daughter much longer! We are extremely sad that Children's closed their Pediatric Rheumatology department, and we lost access to Risa's expertise and guidance in our daughter's recent diagnosis. We wish her well in her future endeavors.

Dr Alprin encompasses compassion and knowledge with excellent care. She has been one of the best providers my child has had over 13 years of care. Dr. Alprin is highly professional, easy to understand when planning care action plans with the child and care provider, and feels like family. We have been honored to have her as a care provider in Omaha NE.
