Dr Barfield is exceptional! She’s so kind and caring. She’s thorough and you can tell she really wants to help. Her approach is evidence based and she focuses on the entire child. I was really very impressed by her and I’m thankful she is our GI. Would absolutely recommend her!

She is extremely thorough, you will leave her office feeling like no stone was left unturned. She has a wonderful disposition and that made my child (who is autistic) as well as myself feel very comfortable. She also responds immediately to your portals messages, hands down she’s amazing!

Dr Barfield is a great physician. She has helped my kid with their constipation problems. When we had an emergency she quickly returned our messages over the app to guide us with next steps. She follows up to see how we are doing. I only wish she was a primary care doctor too!

So many good things to say about Dr. Barfield: 1) She answered my portal email WHILE she was busy in the operating room (if that right there doesn't speak volumes!!); 2) She ordered tests that were immediately read (within a matter of 3 hours) and was able to prescribe medicine in order to treat the issue shortly thereafter; 3) She asked questions about my daughter's condition that no other doctor thought to ask; 4) She was extremely thorough in the appt and was so reassuring; and finally she's so responsive which is so rare to find in medical professionals -- I don't know how she does it! Don't delay in going to her if you can, you won't regret it!

Doctor Barfield is extremely attentive, thoughtful and comprehensive in the way she has been treating and advising my son. We were very impressed also with the way they did his endoscopy and colonoscopy. She also advised us on ways to support him in a more holistic way, from psychology and other helpful ways.
