The doctor and her assistant are both pleasant and kind, and the office itself is clean. However, our experience was frustrating. We had to wait over an hour past our appointment time, and when we arrived at 9 AM—the listed opening time—there was no one in the office. The secretary didn’t show up until 9:30, which, we were told, is typical. On other occasions, both the doctor and her assistant were absent, and we couldn’t get care for our sick child. It’s very upsetting to have a scheduled appointment and still not know whether the doctor will be there that day. No one notifies you in advance, and you’re left guessing. That’s not how pediatric care should work.

I came with my sick child during regular office hours and was told the doctor wouldn’t be in today. We rescheduled for the next day, showed up again — and once more were told the doctor wouldn’t be in. They simply said: “If your child is sick, go to Urgent Care.” It’s not okay when a pediatrician is unavailable during working hours — even when you have an appointment. If every time there’s an issue we’re sent to Urgent Care, then what’s the point of having a pediatrician?

I highly recommend Dr. Carmen , shes so kind and genuine. Shes very honest too I love an honest doctor especially when it comes to children. Both my children are her patients and I just love the care she has for my babies.
