I was a patient of UES gynecology and saw Dr. Archibald. Overall, I did not have a great experience for two main reasons: 1. Dr. Archibald’s bedside manners left something to be desired. She felt, in my opinion, condescending throughout our appointment and made me feel bad for a. Not knowing exactly what shots I’d received in all my years of life on earth off the top of my head b. Not knowing the exact heart condition my mother had. It may not have been her intention but the way she reacted made me upset. 2. The nurse there could not draw blood. She poked both of my arms/veins a total of at least 5 times. Which nobody should have to go through at a certified medical practice. Dr Archibald finally came to draw my blood, when the nurse gave up and I had already packed up my things and was headed out the door. Thankfully, that was successful. However, she tried to put it on me by saying I had bad veins when a. Throughout the multiple times I’ve gotten my blood drawn in my life I’ve never had an issue and b. I went to mount sinai to get my annual bloodwork done and the nurse there confirmed I had extremely normal veins Anyways, the one good thing I can say about this place was that it was easy compared to other practices to get an appointment which a lot of people could value. And, I got what I needed which was an annual gyno visit and to renew my birth control pills. I understand that maybe she was having a bad day that day and will give grace but based on this experience I had I will not be going back.
