I’ve been a new patient with Garden OBGYN for 1 month and so far I have had nothing but negative experiences. As a new patient at the 19th st location in Brooklyn, the receptionist at the front desk was rude, never looked up from her computer to welcome me, and couldn’t care less that I was a new patient. Then I waited 3 hours to be seen. Next they said I would have to have a follow up appointment in Long Island- Didn’t ask if that would work for me. I told them the commute wouldn’t work so I was scheduled on the upper east side location at 67th st. Then I was called the day prior to reschedule at the 51st st. location. When I arrived they had me fill out NEW PATIENT FORMS AGAIN, even though I just went through the process a month prior. They were bought by Northwell and required to have all of their patients re-register. Is there not a better system for transferring this information? Why inconvenience all of your patients this way? Anyway, I was there for an hour and a half only to be seen by an older male physician for ten minutes. He claimed he doesn’t perform the procedure that I need anymore, but went through excruciating detail about all of the options of the procedure I may or may not have - all for the purpose of a student observing the consultation. Meanwhile I’m crying in the office because all the details were terrifying. Last, they referred me to ANOTHER OBGYN all together so that they don’t have to service me. This must be so they can get paid by my insurance without having to do anything I actually need. This OBGYN is awful and don’t follow through with the services they say they offer. Go somewhere else.
