Terrible experience at this hospital due to how I was treated by the practitioners and the mismanagement of the obstetrics team. I had to wait 1.5hrs for an epidural even though the residents had been pressuring me to get one for hours. I was asked to keep pushing after I opted for a cesarean, and during this extra time my baby’s heart rate started going into distress. I had to wait a long time to go into the OR because only one was operating, which was stressful because by this time the fetal heart rate was really fluctuating. The anesthesiologist was rude and shamed me for needing a cesarean, and before taking me back to the OR discussed an other patient’s ’bad c-section’ over my bed. During the surgery my anesthesia ran out and I could feel pain, and at first the anesthesiologist gaslit my experiences. A nurse on the postpartum unit flipped my nipples around with a joke when I was trying to breastfeed, and the lactation consultant falsified my medical record because she didn’t actually work with me. Would not recommend!!!!!!!
