Don’t waste your time. They give appointments that are just time slots and if you are lucky, you will be there for your time slot and then wait 90 mins to be called in. Better off going anywhere else. Doctors themselves are very nice. Staff and management running the show are unpleasant and unhelpful. Word of caution, even though you check in electronically upon entering, make sure you also check in with the receptionist behind the desk too, because apparently sometimes the electronic check ins don’t sync to their system properly and they’ll completely ignore you and lie to you about your place in the queue. *** 53 mins later they send the same canned response to a bad a review that they sent to the last two reviewers. If they had actually taken us in within 53 mins of our time slot, that would have been impressive.

I have been to PM Pediatric on Atlantic Avenue a few times before and have generally had a positive experience, however, that was not the case today. I brought my 8yr old son in this evening because he has had a fever for 4 days that will not go below 100 degrees despite the constant use of Tylenol and Ibuprofen and is lingering between 102-104. Doctor Christeen Azmy mentioned that she wouldn't be able to treat for flu and explained why but that she could still test anyway and I said yes. She ended up only testing for strep which was negative and when she returned to the room with my paperwork said "yea it's probably flu just keep doing what you've been doing and if he still has fever by Tuesday get him evaluated again." The entire visit felt extremely rushed, she said he "didn't have fever" even though it was over 100 there. And she didn't do the flu test. When I exited and informed my husband he said he wanted the flu test done because we need to know what's causing this regardless of whether she will treat it or not. I agreed. We requested to speak to the doctor again. My husband approached her when she came to the front, I could barely hear his request but I heard her loud and clear with an attitude saying "that's not how I practice medicine I already explained to mom why I didn't test" and he insisted he still wants it done. She walked away from him while he was still speaking, so rude. She was clearly annoyed. They sent a nurse out to the WAITING ROOM and very roughly swabbed my son causing him to cry in pain. They didn't even have the decency to bring him back to a room but I guess that's "how they practice medicine" then very dismissively said "okay you can leave" without even informing us how we would get the results. Extremely rushed, rude, and unprofessional. And yes my husband had some unkind words for them upon leaving but trust they were deserved. No need to be rough with my child because we bothered you to do your job and figure out what's wrong with him. Will not be returning. I will note only the front desk lady was nice, my review has nothing to do with her, only the doctor and nurse
