One-Care Ob/Gyn

I transferred to this clinic from another clinic I was unhappy with at the start of my second trimester with my first pregnancy. It was night and day regarding quality of care, shared information, and patient preference consideration. They are very warm, informative, and easy to feel as though you and baby are being well taken care of. My pregnancy and birth went exactly as planned, and my postpartum care was exceptional. I recommend these midwives to any person looking for the best pregnancy and delivery experience in the area. I am so happy to be starting my second pregnancy journey with them this fall.

I have been here since 2017 and let me tell you, it is not remotely the same practice now as it was then. When I first started going here they made me feel so confident and secure in my birth and had dozens of midwives. Currently I believe there is 3? All of the good employees left during Covid and if I had to guess it’s because they refused the jab because it was exactly during Covid when they all left. Obviously that’s just a guess but regardless all the good doctors/midwives are gone. The two stars I left here are for the midwives I saw during this pregnancy that were amazing, the doctors are just awful. The first meeting with the male doctor came into the office room and without even saying hi just firmly goes “uncross your legs!” And me being confused said why and he continues to say I’m going to give myself a blood clot. I am 32 years old, workout every single day, not remotely obese or at risk for blood clots. I was also dealing with bad shortness of breath and instead of actually solving my problem they kept trying to tell me I am high risk due to family history of heart problems (something which I DONT HAVE). This is also my 5th birth and suddenly now they are worried about my heart backed by absolutely nothing. I’ve had hour long ultrasounds of my heart during this pregnancy as well as regular cardiologist check ups which the cardiologist himself said I was fine. But they kept pressing I see their Morristown cardiologist. The people in my family with these heart problems are drug addicts and alcoholics but due to my family history they just made the claim of me being high risk (I don’t do drugs, drink, or literally do anything that could harm my body). All my ultrasounds came back perfect and after switching practices the reason I had shortness of breath is because my iron stores where at SEVEN. They quickly fixed the shortness of breath problem by giving me an iron infusion. Something this practice let me go months suffering focusing on the wrong things which was an easy fix. They also no longer offer the juice alternative to the glucose test like they use to and when I asked about it they looked at me like I was nuts. I know a lot of people choose this practice to use the birthing center and have a more natural approach to their pregnancies. You won’t find that here anymore.
