Dr. Karli Goldstein and her team were exactly what I needed. I sought her out myself after several unexplained lung collapses and three VATS surgeries, none of my doctors thought it was endometriosis but my research said otherwise. Dr. Goldstein sat with me for over an hour going over my case and educating me on thoracic endometriosis. She was 90% sure I had endometriosis after that first meeting and we booked a surgery with her and the thoracic surgeon she works with at Englewood Hospital. My surgery went smoothly and even though my MRI, CT and XRays had all been clear they found lots of endometriosis and inflammation in my abdomen. She was the only surgeon to come to the family waiting room to give my mom a thorough update while I was in recovery, she even told her to record it on her phone so I could hear it. Her team gave me all of the video from the surgery and an extremely detailed report. Even Dr. Goldstein's stitching was superior to the 13+ incisions I had had previously and are healing beautifully (why hadn't any other surgeons buried my stitches?!) I still have a long road ahead of me because I suspect there is still endo in my chest which will require another surgery down the line. But if you are suffering from endometriosis symptoms, Dr. Karli Goldstein is your girl.
