Came back for a follow up that a previous doctor told me to do. Front desk staff were very nice and the nurse was sweet. Doctor seemed almost irritated that I was there no smiles and super unfriendly. Spoke with superiority as if I was a child rather than talking to me with care and respect. Proceeded to refer to me as "he" and stuttering her words rather than stopping to apologize. I've been to a few city md's and have always been treated with respect. Very sad my local urgent care doesn't train doctors for bedside manner better.

I rarely write reviews, but had a negative experience with Dr. Boddu in April 2026. I had an extreme case of strep throat and was prescribed Amoxicillin, despite telling Dr. Boddu that I was allergic/had a childhood allergy to Amoxicillin. I was essentially told "there's nothing else" she wanted to prescribe me and was encouraged to take medication that I had a known allergy to. She told me to call the office back if I experience an allergic reaction. I was in so much pain from the strep that I took the Amoxicillin because I felt I had no other option at that time. A week later I broke out in severe hives due to the Amoxicillin and had to come back to urgent care. I was seen by Dr. Spahic (super nice and helpful, the 2 stars in this rating all go to him), who was so concerned by my allergic reaction that he prescribed me an epi-pen in addition to Prednisone for the hives. All that to say, extremely hit or miss experience depending on which doctor sees you. And absolutely do NOT let anyone here pressure you into taking medicaiton you might be allergic to!
