The nurses on the 4th floor took excellent care of my mother. I mean excellent and I'm extremely grateful for them. When my mother left the Brookdale hospital and was given a week to live, my sister and I decided to bring her back to BUMCH for pallatative care on the 2nd floor. The nurses took great care of her until her final breath which was taken today, December 18, 2025. If I can give 6 stars, I would. God bless the staff. They made us feel comfortable and encouraged us while caring for her. They even dealt with the deceased body with great care and respect. No words can express how grateful we are that she passed around the them. Thank you all! I forgot to mention that they allowed me to spend the night with my mom as she was actively dying. I slept in a recliner in her room. I worked remote every day I went and the wifi was awesome. They made this difficult situation a little easier to bear.
