We would like to thank nurse Elaine in the observation unit for providing exceptional care. My grandma recently stayed here for dizziness and nausea, Elaine made sure she was comfortable at all times and was very respondent to her needs. She brought over a more comfortable chair for us when we were visiting and was very kind and provided excellent care. The rest of the staff there is very caring and professional as well. Highly recommend this hospital and the nurses and doctors there.

Hi 👋, My name is Susan Baksh date of birth 11/18/1963. I wanted to share this with you for the longest time but I was diagnosed with breast cancer after my experience with the best doctor in Mount Sinai hospital both here and in the city. Late June of last year I went to the mount Sinai emergency room in Astoria and I was assigned the nicest, patient, understanding and most caring doctor in your hospital. Her name is Neha Lad MD FSSO, she truly is a blessing from above and a great asset to you hospital. Dr. Lad from day one was my angel. I went in with a leaking appendix and never needed surgery, I am still amazed! At one time I was a little upset with Dr. Lad when I was in the hospital because she was sending me for all these breasts exams and I not too happy because of the radiation but I took the exams only to find out in September that I had breast cancer. Last November I had a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery in May and may need one more surgery. Dr lad saved my life, if she didn't insist o wouldn't have checked. May Dr lad always be blessed with everything in life that she desires. Thank you, thank you, thank you forever for everything you did for me, I will be forever grateful 🙏❤️. Also I wanted to say thank you to her amazing assistant Miku and the wonderful staff at Mount Sinai, you really are great with the patients 🙏❤️
