I had a very frustrating experience with this clinic’s billing process. I visited in October and was charged a $250 visit fee upfront due to having a high deductible plan at the time. However, I have since met my out-of-pocket maximum, so this visit should have been covered by my insurance. It has now been over 6 months, and the clinic still has not successfully processed the insurance claim. My insurance (UHC) shows no record of a valid claim. Each time I call, I’m told that only the billing person can handle it,but she is consistently unavailable, works remotely, and there is no direct way to contact her. Staff members are unable to provide basic information such as: Whether the claim was actually submitted Whether it was denied Whether it was ever resubmitted I have called multiple times and received no clear answers or follow-up. It feels like the issue is being repeatedly delayed without resolution. For an in-network provider, this level of billing disorganization is unacceptable. Patients should not have to chase down basic insurance processing for months. I would strongly recommend improving transparency and accountability in billing, as this experience has been extremely disappointing.
