This place is an absolute nightmare. patients are left to rot in their rooms. laundry is not done. The most basic care is lacking and when you ask to speak with someone nobody knows anything, no one is in charge. they even forget to FEED the patients. side note for anyone not doing their own research- this facility is beither owned nor managed by alaris. it seems to be a marketing relationship to use the brand. it is individually owned and operated by an entity that I cannot even identify. The rooms are decrepit- discarded mattress against the wall and disgusting wallpaper with holes patched and not even painted over.

My mom was referred to this nursing home facility after being hospitalized for nearly a month, and I witnessed her health decline dramatically after just one week there. She stopped eating because the food was unappetizing and honestly looked disgusting. I constantly had to call the front desk multiple times a day just to ask nurses or aides to bring her water, especially since she was on medications that caused severe dry mouth. Half the time, my calls would go unanswered, get disconnected, or I would be hung up on. There were times when she went hours without anything to drink and became delirious from dehydration. She also went long periods without having her pull-up changed, as the staff seemed to only enter her room to administer medication and then leave. I visited frequently and often stayed with my mom for most of the day, yet I never once saw the doctor who was prescribing all of these new medications. Every time I walked down her hallway, there was a strong smell of urine. With each visit, I could visibly see the life draining out of her. After visiting her oncologist, she was told she likely had around three months left to live without immunotherapy treatments. She passed away after only three weeks at this facility, just two weeks after that appointment, and was shown very little compassion in her final days. Instead of receiving sympathy or concern regarding her declining condition, I was repeatedly contacted by Alaris’s business office about insurance issues during the last few days before she passed away. Finally, the nurse who called to tell me my mom had passed had no information on what happened, she was audibly chewing on food, and her only words were "Your mom passed" and "I dont know". After asking if she was eating, she said she had "Bell's Palsy". I know what I heard, but okay. Maybe the person who delivers this kind of news should be someone who can speak clearly. Side note: When I arrived to say goodbye the nurse said she was the one who called me earlier and had her mask down snacking! I would strongly recommend against sending your loved one to this facility. In my experience, they are severely understaffed, and the level of care my mother received was heartbreaking and inhumane.
