I had an appointment with Dr. Glenroy Aska on July 18, 2025. It was one of the worse experiences I’ve ever had with a doctor. I’m a patient who has been struggling with a bad case of plantar fasciitis bilateral accompanied by a few other issues with both feet. I am 1yr post surgery on my right foot and have been experiencing alot of complications. I’m not recovering properly, still undergoing a lot of treatment, therapy, and numerous referrals; To no avail! I made an appointment outside of the hospital where I’m currently receiving treatment with Dr. Aska hoping to receive some relief and possibly a second opinion. Because I’m starting to feel helpless, hopeless, and depressed with my conditions, (Been out on Leave of Absence for one year from my job and long term disability. Struggling with four children by myself) and not making any progress with my current doctor. Dr. Aska was not only rude, he’s was very unprofessional and insensitive to my concerns and situation. He was on the phone the entire time. He snarled at me a few times and last but not least Dr. Aska asked me “ if this was a liability?” That was the most insulting thing I’ve ever heard from anyone in the medical profession. I was so baffled that I asked for clarification, Dr. Aska had the audacity to ask me again “ am I liability, am I trying to bring a claim?” I told him I no longer wanted his treatment and if I could see another podiatrist? Dr. Aska reply was “ that will be impossible, he’s the only podiatrist at the location.” This was very discouraging for me, because where do I go now for treatment? Help? And most importantly a second opinion? To come home and visit Dr. Aska website and see that he has a 4.5 star review from the doctor that I’m receiving treatment from currently, is mind boggling. I don’t trust him, he shouldn’t be a doctor caring for patients/the community with that negative demeanor. I took an Oath and he’s not abiding by it. He violated every Healthcare Code of Ethics: Do Good, Uphold Justice, Do no harm, etc. I left his office crying hysterically and feeling so hopeless. If I can rate him a -10 I would.
