This review is not reflective of Dr. Veritas or her clinical experience. I saw this doctor during the pandemic and she was excellent and very competent. This review is of the office staff. I have called the office weeks prior to schedule an appointment as I had a concerning mole. Being a melanoma survivor time is of importance. They gave me Memorial Day Monday as an option to come in as the doctor I was told only works Monday. “Perfect” I said as I was off from work. I double checked if the doctor was working Monday (Holiday weekend) and the front desk said “yes, otherwise I wouldn’t have offered it to you”. Saturday I received an automated voice confirming my appointment. I accepted. Monday, I commute to the office, 1.5 hours in the rain, only to arrive and the security guard tells me nobody is in the office. I wait thinking they may still come. I call. NOTHING. This was not only profoundly upsetting as they made me come in on my day off and spend money for my commute but more importantly I’m left with more time waisted around a potential melanoma recurrence. The lack of professionalism and genuine care around scheduling is startling. I will never come here again and I urge you to find an office where front desk staff is diligent and some type of protocol is carried out to ensure these types of scheduling mistakes are prevented.

I will start off by saying that Dr. Veritas is great. She takers her time, she listens to your concerns, and she makes you feel welcomed. Her staff on the other hand "receptionist" are not easy going and can be very rude. They don't seem to be happy there, and they are extremely rude over the phone as well. Might I add that if you have any type of billing concerns it takes multiple of phone calls and a whole lot of patience in order for you to get back in contact with Barbara. I don't understand why this lady is the only person there that is able to take care of billing inquiries. There needs to be a change.
