Dr. Bernadette is an incredibly knowledgeable, caring, empathetic, patient, and compassionate doctor. Not only does she provide a safe haven of support and guidance, but her gift of helping clients navigate through oftentimes uncharted waters is unprecedented and truly sets her apart from other psychiatrists. Respecting the voice and concerns of her patients, she effectively aids in creating a personal and realistic treatment plan; thus speaking to her vast experience and extensive research in the psychopharmacology world. Talk about knowing her stuff! She is candid, thorough, honest, realistic, and hopeful--everything one would seek in a doctor. I felt like I won the "psychiatrist" lottery when I first saw her for treatment. Today, I feel the same way and then some! I have been a patient of Dr. Bernadette for many years. She's a great listener and provides contructive and well thought out suggestions to solve many of my issues. To be honest, without the medication she prescribed daily, I would be filled of anxiety. She gave me the tools to take the Subway even if it's crowded, walk the streets of New York with feeling uncomfortable, and life is comfortable.
