Dr. Ascunce is an excellent doctor. She provides patients with a perfect blend of “plain English” explanations of their health status and practical advice on treatments and preventative measures. Perhaps most importantly, she presents a warm and empathetic demeanor that goes a long way in putting her patients at ease. I recommend her with great enthusiasm.

Dr Ascunce is a very capable and professional cardiologist. She is attentive, easy to talk to, and answers questions in a direct and understandable way. She is responsive to concerns, initiates appropriate action and follows through with the patient. A good doctor to work and partner with. Smooth experience with dr as well as administrative staff regarding scheduling and keeping appmts running on time.

Dr. Ascunce is efficient and thorough. She has helped me in challenging situations--to navigate certain healthcare situations. She is also transparent, but not alarmist. The office is well-staffed. The front desk folks are so very helpful, and friendly. I had an exceptional experience with Iraida at the front desk. She was so helpful in scheduling my follow-up appointments--and aimed to make them as convenient as feasible, for me. I do think the lobby area could use a little TLC--chairs & seating are worn. The interoffice communication system is great as well--very helpful when you have other doctors with WCMC.
