Dr. Karnofsky and his team are the definition of patient centered care providers! My husband (who has a long standing fear of dentists) was referred to Dr. Karnofsky for extractions and from start to finish he was treated with kindness, reassurance and genuine concern. His procedure and plan of care was carefully laid out for us and every question and concern was addressed. Highly recommend!

I visited Dr Karnofsky’s office last week after suffering an unexpected cracked tooth. Prior to my visit I informed Dr. Karnofsky that I was in the first trimester of my pregnancy and he immediately sent me a list of questions to check with my OB to make sure that he was able to safely treat me. I visited him in the New Hyde Park office where his team took extra precautions to ensure that social distancing was enforced in the waiting area and all staff wore PPE throughout the entire process. His assistant Robin was amazing, alleviating my fears of visiting a doctor for a dentral procedure during a pandemic while pregnant and Dr. Karnofsky was able to pull my tooth in a manner that kept me safe and pain-free. I felt safe and comfortable during the entire process and Dr K even called me both the evening of and day after my procedure to make sure that I was feeling well. For any patients who need emergency dental care during this time, I recommend that you visit Dr. Karnofsky.

For the second time, we have woken up to find boxes of medical waste in front of our house with Dr. Karnofsky’s Yonkers address on the box. Latex gloves, gauze, garbage. He may be a five star dentist but whoever cleans his Ridge Hill office is dropping waste with his name and address on parking strips in the middle of the night.
