He explains the pros and cons of different treatments so that you can make an educated decision and advocate for your dental health that matches affordability. I highly recommend him and his dental practice. Top-notch work and my teeth are a walking advertisement.

Situation: just moved to NYC, and unfortunately, chipped my front tooth on a Sunday night. Having a big meeting on Tuesday AM, I needed to have the procedure done on the Monday. Dr. Appelle and his staff were able to fit me in and did a wonderful job. Really wonderful experience all around.

Google review (Mary Jo Rohrer): I had the most pleasant experience with Dr. Appelle's office, both today during my appointment, and beforehand, coordinating with the lovely receptionist, Lucy. When I first made an appointment on ZocDoc, I had not updated my insurance. She touched base with me and we got it straightened out. Then I had to change my appointment several times, which she was very accommodating about. Lucy is very sweet and friendly and certainly made the process as easy as it possibly could be. Neli did an exceptional job cleaning my teeth and was very honest/helpful about flossing techniques, as well as which toothbrush/toothpaste is best to purchase. I saw Dr. Appelle after my cleaning, and he looked at my x-rays, told me my teeth looked great, and sent me on my way. I really appreciated the fact that this office is not cosmetic--they didn't tell me all the things wrong with the appearance of my teeth as other dentists have in the city. I am really glad I switched to this office.

Google review (Christian Sanchez): The cleaning was great by Nelly as always. I went in for chipped tooth and cavity filling. Dr Appelle was good but I would have liked to know how much the work was going to cost before he started working. It would have affected my decision since my insurance was not going to cover it. Also, a week later and the filling is still bothering me and I tried calling but he was not in. The chipped tooth was done very well. Super satisfied with that.
