I can’t say enough good things about Dr Barrah and a huge thumbs up to the lovely Dr Khan who is new. We all know that Dr Barrah is a top notch no-nonsense physician with a great sense of humor. Dr Khan is a great addition to the practice. Her kindness, patience and insight are impressive and she has a really wonderful bedside manner. And finally: glowing reviews to the front staff. In the past, they used to be unfriendly and abrupt. But the NEW support staff are super welcoming and professional.

Dr. Benjamin is one of the greatest doctors in the field of medicine. He listens,he pays attention to the tail and addresses the needs. He is never upset at anything you throw at him. He is really a great doctor and I have been seeing him more than 20 years ago.

I had the privilege to rotate under the guidance of Dr Benjamin Barrah at his private clinic on Atlantic Avenue as well as in the hospital where he guides resident physicians. Dr Barrah has exceptional clinical knowledge and teaching skills. The clinic environment was dynamic and diverse, exposing me to a wide range of conditions — from chronic disease management and preventive care to acute complaints and follow-ups. I particularly appreciated how Dr. Barrah emphasized the importance of holistic care, addressing not only physical health but also the social and emotional aspects of patient well-being. Feedback was always constructive, and each day offered opportunities to refine my clinical and communication skills. Rather than simply observing, I was involved in patient interactions —ranging from taking comprehensive histories, ordering laboratory tests, performing physical examinations, case presentations to discussing diagnostic plans, while also documenting the patient encounter into the state of the art EHI- Connect EMR system. Overall, my experience with Dr.Barrah has been wholesome and I learned immensely under his leadership. I urger any prospective residency applicants to rotate with Dr Benjamin Barrah as it would only add more starts to your application.
