I saw the doctor over a period of one year. She certainly comes off as competent and nice. However, I needed cataract surgery and the doctor's availability for that was quite some time out. Nonetheless, I booked the appointment. When I had a question for the doctor, I wrote to her but never received a response. When later I spoke with the surgical staff to see if I could get a better date, they wrote to the doctor but she never responded to them either. I wound up changing doctor's because I did not feel confident having surgery with an uncommunicative doctor.

The service in this office from the staff and Dr. Ana Hernandez, was the worst I’ve ever had. Dr. Ana Hernandez was very aloof and has zero care for patients. She quickly saw me for about 3 minutes without thoroughly explaining my results. She also didn’t review my OCT results on the myconnect portal. There was also a very rude staff member, Corey Greene, that is very condescending and nasty to patients. I would not recommend this office to anyone..

Dr Fernandez is incredibly attentive and thorough. I feel 100% confident in her advice. The office waits can be long- and medical students do facilitate the initial steps of the appointment. That said, I still have great confidence in Dr Fernandez!

I would give zero or minus stars for the lack of patient care. From the front desk staff (Sasha) to others in the practice, consistently rude and obnoxious. Can not trust anyone there to provide patient-centered care. It's a factory operation with overworked / over rude staff.

I have seen Ana twice. She is terrific and extremely thorough. She has first class ancillary services available if she sees anything that needs to be checked out. Charges after insurance/Medicare were minimal -- just the copay. She does tend to get a little behind schedule because she is such a nice person that she devotes all the time necessary to make the patient comfortable with her care. Just bring something to read.
