I made an intake appointment and was ready for it. But they said they hadn’t received the paperwork. So, I re-did the paperwork and submitted it properly. Rescheduled the appointment for the following week. This is where it gets bad. 15 minutes before my appointment I receive and email. Not even a phone-call… an email. Saying something unexpected came up and my intake would not happen…. No explanation. 5 days later I received a call to reschedule the intake with a different clinician… And they never mentioned there’s a $75 intake fee for the evaluation. It’s not a big deal. Professionals should be paid. But they ask you to “prepay”. Now that I’ve read the reviews, I understand why. Any medical services that ask you to pre-pay is a scam. Don’t go. Real professionals will provide the services and expect payment once the service is complete. I had to ask about the fee around 5 times before getting a straight answer. I will stay away from this place… It’s si disappointing… I used to attend regularly back in the nineties….it was different. They definitely need a new director or a new manager because the services are horrible. So unprofessional.

Came to this mental health services provider highly recommended by acquaintances who have received services from this clinic. America has a mental health crisis and these services are in high demand. Every clinic I’ve ever received services from has always had a somewhat lengthy onboarding process from initial contact to beginning services, so I was ready to wait for as long as it was needed. Important reason to never stop services being currently received at any other center until one is fully scheduled to work with a new care team. Intake went as scheduled, staff is kind, communicative and compassionate. Therapist and psychiatrist have both been very helpful thus far. In case any hiccups with medication insurance or issues of any other related nature the staff is willing to provide the necessary support. Recommend this clinic but beware of your expectations and perhaps speak with folks who already receive mental health services to adjust your expectations of not only this center but this healthcare sector overall.
