I have been working with Spear's occupational therapist for about three years as a result of congenital cerebral palsy. Spear's staff, in particular, Kendra Barlotta, is amazing. Miss Barlotta has worked on improving my use of my right hand; and the results have been incredible. Prior to working with its Barlotta, I barely used my right hand and now I am using my right hand unconsciously to pick up items, especially small items from a table. This is something that I never thought that I would do. I highly recommend Spear and especially Miss Barlotta.

I went into Spear in April barely able to walk on my own... bad discs in my back. Over eight or nine months they showed tremendous patience with me and gave much support. I had setbacks but they always looked out for me and made sure I felt safe and listened to. And they answered all of my questions which was amazing… and made all the insurance stuff super easy. I’ve now been graduated for a few months and can honestly say that I feel better than I have in YEARS. This is because of how they helped me in the clinic but also making sure I have the tools and knowledge to not just keep going but to keep getting better after my regular visits have ended.
