It brings me such pleasure to write a review for NYP Westchester Physical Medicine & Rehab at 329 White Plains Rd., Eastchester, NY. I am personally sounding the alarm and desire every potential client/patient to be aware that once you step in these doors, you will not want or need to assess any other physical rehab facility. Since my first visit during the pandemic until recently, I've noticed that the people operating and managing this facility, have also worked together to revamp, enhance learn and train others with use of advanced technology. This advanced technology was necessary to build a portal that securely housed and shared client medical info internally. To date, the portal continues to serve it's purpose as a catalyst which helps to provide structure, information and guides to obtaining better communication for the holisic rehab, the clients, and all those involved across the network.Their rehab family consists of many team players. The front office: Donna and the admin team; physical therapists, occupational therapists, assistants, clinical students, maintenance and management. They all have a hand in creating and maintaining a caring and conducive environment for one another and their patients/clients. Over the years, as a patient, I've had the pleasure of being the recipient of Jeniffer's, Andrea's, Nancy's and now Juliann Artesona's, therapeutic touch as well as healing hands. Each therapist carefully selected a combo of targeted exercises and various types of hands-on therapy to assist me with attaining maximum rehab recovery goals. For my most recent physical therapy stint, an assortment of methods and disciplines were used, such as massage, manual, ultrasound and posture education. My rehab was facilitated by Juliann Artesona, PT, DPT who specializes in both pediatric and adult physical medicine. As with former therapists, I thoroughly enjoyed each hands-on approach that Juliann applied. Each therapy and/or targeted exercise was used to help support, strengthen and improve my flexibility as well as address root causes. Many of which were identified as muscle imbalance, weakness, and poor posture, interfering with the ability to achieve and maintain proper alignment. Juliann designed her own home exercise program handouts, which had clear step by step instructions along with colorful images for every exercise. Favorably, on occasions when I experienced a moderate setback, and basically "attached at the hip" to my bed--while lying down, I was still able to execute my stretches in bed. All therapies, table stretches, weights, apparatuses and nautilus equipment used in my treatment plan, helped me to achieve maximum rehabilitation. As a team, this professional and fun crew have presented and maintained values that I deem near and dear--safety, sanitary cleanliness, and the highest level of warmth, professionalism and care. Moving forward, I can only hope that every client/patient will have their own personal journey with wonderful testaments of how this rehab facility helped to improve their lives.
