I had a wonderful experience at Nurture Physical Therapy and highly recommend them to anyone during pregnancy or postpartum recovery. During my pregnancy, I saw Dr. Melanie McDonald for pregnancy-induced carpal tunnel syndrome. The pain and numbness had become quite uncomfortable, and she helped tremendously through hands-on massage techniques during our sessions. She also gave me practical stretches and exercises to do at home, which helped me better manage my symptoms throughout the remainder of my pregnancy. Postpartum, I worked with Dr. Suzanne Roudebush for pelvic floor physical therapy. I had never done pelvic floor PT before and wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Suzanne immediately put me at ease. She created a comfortable, supportive environment and thoroughly explained everything she was assessing. I left feeling reassured that my recovery was progressing as expected and equipped with techniques to support healing, including strategies to address a mild abdominal separation during workouts. Both therapists were knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping me feel my best.
