I feel really fortunate to have found Joe Castelli, PT to help in my recovery. I’ve had multiple knee injuries and surgeries in my lifetime and been in various PT settings and never received care anywhere else that was remotely as good as the truly expert one on one PT I get from Joe. I had a total knee replacement in 2018 and spent too many months at one of the large, chain PT facilities. I got basic care and fairly minimal attention while the 20 year old techs were forced to juggle multiple patients at the same time, and thus I never fully recovered. Now I’m dealing with debilitating sciatica in addition to residual knee issues, and during my time at Sport Physio, Joe works with me and me alone. He has made observations and suggestions about my care that I’ve later gotten from doctors, surgeons, and neurologists at some very prestigious NYC hospitals. But Joe pointed those out to me before the doctors did, which should give you an idea of the breadth of his knowledge and experience. Being an expert has lost much of its cachet these days with everyone thinking that “doing your own research” puts a diploma on their wall. When you find someone like Joe who just knows the answers to all the stuff you ask him, it’s both humbling and exciting, because you realize just how much there is to learn, that you’re working with the best, and he’s got your back (literally and figuratively.) Working with a true expert brings the best outcome on your road to recovery, and it teaches you a hell of a lot along the way. Without reservation, I would recommend Joe Castelli if you want the best to guide to recovery helping you to live your best life. But I plan to keep seeing him so hands off my time slots!
