It has been almost 2 years now that I underwent an MMA embolism procedure performed by Dr. Kellner, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care I received. From the very beginning, Dr. Kellner took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, what it would accomplish, and what to expect in recovery. His calm, compassionate approach gave me confidence and peace of mind during what could have been an overwhelming time. What truly stood out was Dr. Kellner's presence and attentiveness throughout my hospital stay. He consistently checked in on me during my recovery, making sure I was doing well and answering any questions I had. That level of personal care is rare and deeply appreciated. I recently had Cervical Spine Surgery, an ACDF procedure, with Jeremy Steinberger at the Mount Sinai West Campus. I’m only 36 and I had been suffering from severe chronic cervical radiculopathy for the last four years and decided to seek a second opinion from Dr. Steinberger after being treated at another large academic center in the city. My overall experience with the Neurosurgery department at the Sinai West campus was nothing less than exceptional. From my first appointment with Dr. Steinberger in his office to the day of my surgery, I was met with empathy and compassion by all of the healthcare professionals involved with my care. Certainly a breath of fresh air, and something that we need more of in the city, especially, within large healthcare institutions. I’m just two weeks out from my surgery and have had the most mobility and least amount of pain in years. I would highly recommend scheduling an initial consultation with Dr. Steinberger if you are suffering from something similar.
