I was introduced to Alexandra at Bryant Park Physical Therapy through a neighbor after suffering from a severe rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder due to years of repetitive overuse at work. My job requires carrying heavy lasers and equipment, and after years of bending over patients and maneuvering devices, my shoulder had simply worn down. When I visited my orthopedic doctor, surgery was immediately recommended. I was honestly terrified both of the surgery itself and the long recovery time, with no guarantee of improvement. Meeting Alexandra changed everything. At the time, my pain was unbearable. I could barely put on or take off my clothes. My shoulder and arm were in constant agony. After my very first treatment, I already knew she was something special empathetic, caring, and truly invested in helping her patients heal. I had been to other physical therapy offices before, but they felt very transactional all business and very little care. With Alexandra, it was different. After just the first session, my pain dropped from an 8 to about a 5 or 6. She immediately recognized that years of leaning over patients had compromised my posture and began correcting that as well.i continued going back a few times until I felt better. Now, over a year later, the shoulder that was once supposed to go through surgery is about 80% - 90 % better, and many days I feel no discomfort at all. Recently, my right shoulder began showing the same symptoms because I had been overusing it while protecting my left. I went back to Alexandra last week, and my pain level dropped from an 8–9 to almost zero after treatment and supportive taping. She truly is a miracle worker. I felt compelled to write this review because genuine healers deserve recognition. No one should have to live with constant pain when there are dedicated therapists like Alexandra who truly care about helping people heal. I’m incredibly grateful and will absolutely continue therapy with her even as I feel better. Thank you, Alexandra.
