Dr. Burnett is definitely among the best ENT I have visited in NYC area. I have visited him 4-5 times from 7 years ago, my experience: 1. wait time is almost zero if you are on time, and the visit process is very smooth. 2. never have to schedule a follow up visit because he can solve the problem for just one visit. 3. He is very experienced and can detect the issue almost immediately. 4. the stuff is very helpful. I called them about the prescriptions and they answered very quickly after consulting with Dr. Burnett.

Writing this review as a reminder to myself that it’s time to schedule my ear cleaning again! I’ve been seeing Dr. Burnett since late 2020. I typically need annual ear cleanings, and I always feel well cared for under his care. He is thorough, professional, and makes both my husband and me feel very comfortable during visits. That level of trust means a lot. The only reason it’s been over a year since my last visit was due to a small front desk hiccup. At my last appointment, my prescribed ear drops were never sent to the pharmacy. When I called about a week later, I was told I would need to come back in again, so I decided to wait it out instead. That said, I truly value the doctor’s care and expertise, and I plan to return. Overall, I’ve had positive experiences and appreciate the quality of treatment I receive. Looking forward to my next appointment with Dr. Burnett!

Worst doctor experience I have ever had, which surprised me given the positive reviews. I arrived 20 minutes before my scheduled appointment time. After checking in, I waited for 1 hour before seeing Dr. Burnett. It was clear he was running behind schedule and wanted to get me in and out as quickly as possible. Apart from telling me he was going to look in my nose with his machine, he did not tell me what he was doing at any point- that he was going to spray things in my nose or what those substances were. He quickly reached his diagnosis and prescribed me a couple medications. All of this happened in 5 minutes (!), at which point he decided this appointment was over, and insisted I follow him to the front to check out. Shocked, I refused and said I have questions. We went back in the room, where he answered my questions brusquely and that was that. The lidocaine he had sprayed up my nose didn’t even go into effect until I was already out on the street! I have understanding for professionals running behind, I waited patiently. But barely spending 5 minutes on me after that and slapping a couple prescriptions on my issues without so much as seeing if I have questions felt disingenuous. I was honestly in disbelief. If you want a conscientious, approachable doctor who will take interest and listen to you, seek care elsewhere. At least the man at the front desk apologized for the long wait.

Dr. Burnett treated me 3 different times and each time I was in and out of the office in less than 20 minutes. Him and his team even helped with some prescription confusion and made sure I was able to get my meds the same day. I recommend Dr. Burnett to everyone whenever I can.

I had a great experience with Dr. Michael Burnett. I came in with an urgent issue and was immediately put at ease. He was incredibly attentive, took the time to explain everything clearly, and answered all of my questions without rushing. I felt safe, heard, and respected throughout the visit. He also laid out a clear plan for next steps, which gave me peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for thoughtful, thorough care.
