Dr. Bains operated on my father over 30 years ago, Dr. Mike Venditto D.O. Although my father's long since pasted it was not due to any fault of Dr. Bains, if anything the Dr. added 5 or 6 years onto my father's life. Although I was only 8 or 9 doctor Bains treated me with respect and concern even ordering a special floor pass for me as children are not allowed inside Sloan-Kettering unless they are patients. I will never forget his kindness.

Dr. Bains performed my surgery in 2015 and it is a blessing I’ll cherish for my lifetime. I was sent to him by a board of physicians in another state who recommended him as the best and most knowledgeable person for the job. They were right!! He not only took on my complicated surgery, but looked after me with care in the days that followed as the youngest (and incredibly scared) patient in the unit at the time.
