Today Dr. Shemen took out the splints in my nose, 3 weeks after my septoplasty surgery and oh boy the difference.... I can't remember when's the last time I can breath like this, probably in decades! The whole process was smooth, professional and well communicated. I've been to many ENT doctors in the past for the same issue and none had really yielded any good results. Dr. Shemen very quickly identified my issue on the first visit and promptly formed the plan for treatment. His confidence and clear explanations helped me making up my mind for the surgery. A special thanks to Sheryl for help scheduling the surgery in time so I can recover soon enough before my upcoming trip. I underwent submucous resection turbinectomy, bilateral ethmoidectomy, maxillectomy , and frontal sinus surgery. The entire experience was handled very professionally. The doctor explained the procedure clearly and addressed all my concerns before surgery. The operation went smoothly, and my breathing has improved significantly.
