I have been a patient at this office for almost 25 years. Even though they have been out of network with my insurance, I continued to stay because I trusted the doctor. Unfortunately, my most recent visit has left me deeply disappointed. I was denied care because of an “outstanding bill” — a bill I never received at my home and was never made aware of. On that day, I was a walk-in in severe foot pain, and instead of compassion, I was met with rudeness and dismissal from the front desk staff. Over the years, I have found the office outdated and the staff often extremely rude, but I still stayed loyal. After decades as a patient, being turned away in pain was unfair and unacceptable. On top of that, this office should offer more methods of payment for self-pay patients — limiting people to just cash or debit cards is completely unacceptable in this day and age. I feel compelled to leave this review because no patient — especially a senior citizen in pain — should ever be treated this way. This office needs to do better when it comes to communication, payment options, respect, and compassion for the people who put their trust in them.

Dr. Anarella saw me this morning and addressed the foreign object in my toe. He sprayed my toe to make it numb before he gave me the needle and I never felt a thing not even when the second needle nor when the went in to remove the object which turned out to be a piece of glass. He was professional and explained things as he performed his services. I am very happy and highly recommend him as a seasoned professional that takes care in how he provides services.

This Dr. JAMES ANARELLA, they give a good feed back. BUT IS NOT TRUE... he also has a place at MOUNT SINAI IN JACKSON HEIGHTS 82ST Street. They tell you he doesn't take late patients after making a wait of 2 months to see him... but when it comes to see him they MAKE YIU WAIT MORE THAN THE 20 MINITES POLICY THEY HAVE... SO patients with appts should NOT have wait that long either RIGHT?. IMAGINE some people just interested on making $$$ out people.

Excellent Doctor I have been going to see Dr. Anarella since I was 16 years for over 24 years ago. Even though I moved to New Jersey I still come to see him for my annual foot examination. I will continue to come see him as well as bring my kids to him if they need it.

Went in years back because both my toes had ingrown nails. The doctor said by cutting of the sides and adding a liquid that they would not grow and I won’t have pain. It may not look pretty but I’d be pain free. That was far from true. The nail still grew back but sliced in half and more painful I have a piece on top of my cuticle that grows and feels sharp and it hurts til this day.
