I had a wonderful visit to Dr. Berlin Gastroenterology & Liver Diseases clinic. The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, was fantastic. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Berlin was not only knowledgeable but also took the time to address all my questions and concerns. I left the clinic feeling confident in the care I received. If you're looking for a reputable clinic with a compassionate doctor I recommend Dr. Berlin from the bottom of my heart.

The only Gastroenterologist our family trusts , she found cancer in very early stage and saved my father's life . Great doctor , very professional and caring , helped us to find right surgeon and a lot good words to say about her !!!!!!

Dr. Berlin was unable to successfully complete my grandmother’s colonoscopy. As a result, my grandmother was left experiencing significant pain, confusion, and heightened anxiety. Dr. Berlin then referred her for an abdominal CT scan, stating, “I cannot perform a colonoscopy on you due to your prior surgical history.” This raises a concern: Was this contraindication not identified during the pre-procedural assessment? The procedure was already underway (and billed to Medicaid) before determining it was not feasible. A thorough pre-procedure review should have identified any contraindications prior to initiating the colonoscopy. Following the CT scan, my grandmother returned to Dr. Berlin’s office, where she was informed that Dr. Berlin did not recall ordering the initial scan. She then advised my grandmother to undergo an additional CT scan. As CT scans require a physician’s order, this discrepancy is concerning. When asked why the initial CT was ordered, and whether it was deemed inappropriate, Dr. Berlin was unable to provide an explanation. This situation warrants review, particularly given my grandmother’s history of 36 radiation therapy sessions for prior cancer treatment. Unnecessary imaging not only exposes her to additional radiation but also raises questions about the appropriateness of care and potential misuse of Medicaid resources.

I have been going to this doctor for many years! I want to note the professionalism of this office. They always see you on time, the staff and doctor are very attentive and friendly.

The doctor is good, but the nurse is very rude. I initially thought it was a one-time occurrence, but she consistently speaks to patients in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. If she doesn’t like her job, maybe it’s time for her to consider retirement.
