George Haralambou, M.D.

Very disappointed with the front desk experience at the office of George Haralambou, MD. I called to confirm my mother’s follow-up appointment after lung nodules were found on a CT scan during an ED visit. From the beginning, I explained the situation clearly and even reviewed her identifiers due to ongoing registration issues she has experienced before. Initially staff tried to help, but the tone quickly became dismissive and unprofessional. We were told she was never a patient, they could not locate her appointment or records, and no one could provide the main Northwell number, medical records information, patient relations, or a supervisor. After repeatedly asking for guidance so my mother could receive timely pulmonary follow-up care, I was placed on hold indefinitely and no one returned to the call. This was extremely frustrating and concerning given the seriousness of lung nodules and the importance of continuity of care. Families navigating potential health concerns deserve compassion, professionalism, and basic assistance.

I took my Dad to see Dr. Haralambou, he was very nice, friendly, and Professional. He really listens to you and takes his time. He helps to resolve your issues. Definitely recommend this Doctor.

Excellent doctor that takes time out with me and explains everything about my health..he has assisted me with getting the proper equipment I need to help my respiratory issues...his staff in his office are very pleasant and helpful.

Good doctor but it’s a shame the people that work at the front desk are extremely rude. Missed my appointment because I was in the hospital for the flu and when I tried to make another one she was rude and gave me a hard time. Unprofessional!
