Google review (E MAT): Dr. George Kofinas was recommended to us by a close friend to help with conception. Dr. Kofinas did a thorough examination of potential problems and discovered some issues that may have been preventing. He recommended surgery in which we followed through with and were able to conceive less than a year later. Dr. Kofinas and his staff were very professional and kind during our visits. We didn’t want sugarcoating or doing procedures that waisted our time. We wanted the facts in which we felt very satisfied with and more importantly he contributed to the birth of our baby!

Google review (Shabnam Panahi): I strongly caution anyone considering Dr. George Kofinas.
Before my laparoscopic surgery in January 2025, his office ran a series of tests that I explicitly declined, since identical tests had already been completed just days earlier at his brother’s practice. My concerns were ignored, and now—over a year later—I am being pursued for approximately $1,500 for tests I was under the clear impression were never performed. This is unacceptable and feels extremely deceptive.
It gets worse. On the day of my surgery, I showed up expecting Dr. Kofinas to perform the procedure, as he had clearly stated he would. Instead, the surgery was done by someone else without proper disclosure or consent. That is a serious breach of trust.
Trying to get my medical records was another ordeal. When I requested them in summer 2025, the office delayed for months and only provided them after I threatened to file a complaint for HIPAA noncompliance. Patients should not have to chase down their own records or resort to threats to receive them.
This entire experience reflects a pattern of poor communication, lack of transparency, and disregard for patient consent. I regret not posting this sooner, but given the ongoing billing issue, I feel obligated to warn others. Proceed with extreme caution.
