Today I had a colonoscopy in Howard beach done by Dr Geraldi . The staff was great they walked me through every step of my procedure and before you know it I was out there with great results. Thank you Jesus 🙏 and thank you to Dr Geraldi and the staff.

Today Dr.Gerardi told my stepdaughter that her CAT scan is normal when it clearly states under findings-diverticulosis. While not the worst thing-she has been in pain for 2 weeks and it hurts every time she eats. While she asked some questions he told her he does not have time to go over a normal CT scan with her. Never even mentioned this issue in the results and was very abrupt with her, as he was with me when I questioned him. Taking 2 minutes to listen to someone's concerns, or try to prescribe something to help with the discomfort would not have killed him. Rushing her off the phone because he was busy and belittling her concerns was cruel and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone with an issue that needs immediate attention.

**READ FOR HONEST REVIEW** from personal experience from January 2023-December 2023 with this doctor. Disclaimer!! I have not been paid to write this. I am just trying to help others before they get even more sick. If you want to get better, do not see Dr Gerardi. I was diagnosed with severe pan-colitis, and he put me on a medication that’s for a minor problem. And when I asked him for another type of medication, he just kept referring to me as “Dr. mona“ as if I offended him for trying to tell him how I feel. My dad even went to him for an appointment, and my dad asked him about myself and to my father’s face. He still kept referring to me as Dr. mona behind my back. He has no bedside manners, and that’s very disrespectful especially to do that in front of my father, who only cares about my health. And then when I asked him about that medication, he told me that I would have to be on steroids and that I would get fat and that I don’t want to get fat. I weigh less than 115 pounds. The wind blows me away. Who cares if I get fat. So I switched my doctors and I go to a new one in Rockville center and he’s great. He actually cares about me and he made me a priority and I am feeling much better in the last month than I have in the last year. I was on the road to either getting my colon removed through surgery or leaving with a bag on my stomach. With Dr. Singh I might actually be able to live a normal life in maybe six months to a year after treatment. I am now on Entyvio, which is what I’ve been asking for for six months at least. Do not make the same mistake by coming here. Make sure you find a Doctor Who wants to make you better instead of wants to make you pay for medication you don’t need. Because the medication I’m currently on, I don’t have to pay a penny for because even my insurance company knows that this treatment I’m now on is better for me than the old one. And Dr Gerardi can get mad with me all he wants for seeing this review. I don’t care. He had me on the wrong path, and I’m just scared that he might do this to somebody else. Please be cautious and take heed. I got another colonoscopy and my original diagnosis was confirmed. But that’s probably the only thing that he got right. I shouldn’t have to beg for eight months to be on proper medication. If it doesn’t work after three months, I don’t know why it would still work after eight. That logic just doesn’t make sense. If you’d like to suffer then definitely go to this doctor. But if you care about yourself, go literally anywhere else I’m sure you can find better or if they have another doctor in that office check that other person out. But I say go to Rockville center for a better Dr. also, because of this, I stopped trusting five star reviews. I am now skeptical about the other reviews before mine because that was why I went to him in the first place but now I see what a mistake that was. Now I do everything through word of mouth and word of mouth only. I wish I could give zero stars or -5 stars… also, I know the law and I am expressing my first amendment right so please do not come for me, Dr. Gerardi. I don’t have time for you anymore. The constitution gives me the right to speak the truth.

Had a procedure done today, in the Howard Beach office. Staff was wonderful from the nurse Michelle who walked me through all the prep steps, to the admitting nurse who was super sweet and caring, to bubbly and sweet Marly who assisted with the procedure, the feisty anesthesiologist and of course Dr. Gerardi. Glad it’s over, but even happier to have been in such good hands. Thank you!

Excellent professional, very up to date with new findings and medications. Takes his time reviewing your personal history, and always follows up,after a procedure.
