Very friendly staff. Made my daughter feel very comfortable and relaxed. The doctor was very nice also. She explained to me in detail what the plan was going forward. Great job. I’m reading the other reviews here and my experience was much different than most of the other reviews. I didn’t wait long, they were very nice to me and my daughter. The PA who was a female was extremely nice and helpful.

I had to get my lab results to them because they weren't able to call BioReference to get the results. I was told to e-mail the reports. When I got there, at each step, the person told me they didn't have the reports, and I had to explain to each person at each step that I had in fact sent the reports and that the previous person at the office saw them. I spent 90 minutes to see the doctor, who after five minutes looking at the reports on his phone told me he did not have the expertise to interpret the lab results, and the doctor who could just left the practice. When I asked about the out-of-range values in my report, he said he did not seem them on the report, despite my having them on my phone. What a profound waste of my time. When I called to make my followup, they could have told me no one there was qualified to continue my care.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother who has been an allergy shot patient since 2017. When she first became a patient of NYASC she started seeing Dr. Banta and then transferred her care to PA Kristyl after Dr. Banta left NYASC. She was very pleased and satisfied with the care that she received from both providers when she first became a patient. Over the course of this year, especially the last couple of months she has been beyond frustrated with the customer service and lack of coordination with the office. Her Xolair appointment has been rescheduled 3 times this year alone bc they did not receive the shipment for the shot. She always schedules the first appointment of the day bc of her work schedule. This last appointment that she booked she checked herself in with the front desk being the only patient in the waiting room. The staff made her wait 35 minutes before calling her up to the front desk and informing her that the shipment is scheduled to arrive the next day and she cannot be seen. Why have her wait 35 minutes if you know that her shot is not in the office. What took so long for her to be notified and waste 35 minutes of her time to have to reschedule her appointment. Most importantly why wasn't she notified the DAY BEFORE?? Why isn't the schedule checked the day before by the office to make sure that all shipments are present for the patient's that are on the schedule. This is beyond unprofessional and shows the lack of coordination, organization and overall management of the whole office. I would not write this review if this just happened once because mistakes do happen. But for this to happen 3 times in the course of 1 years says a lot. NYASC does not care about people's time and does not understand that some people take off from work or have to adjust their personal schedule to make these important doctor's appointments. She will no longer be returning to NYASC for her allergy shot treatments.

Ive been seeing kristal since my son was a few months old and he's about to be 5 this year I couldn't ask for a more attentive Dr she looks at him like her own and wants the best care for him and if she is not in she makes sure who attends to him is on point until she can get to see him when she is in next. Love this place more like family.

The most amazing allergy and asthma specialists, they care, they are super fast, they are experienced, and knowledgeable. I have both allergies and asthma that is well controlled (now) thanks to the work of the fine staff at this clinic. I have been going to this clinic for over 10 years, even back in the day when they were located a few blocks down on Myrtle. They have multiple offices in NYC so even if this location is closed you can always call or visit the Manhatten location. They work with you if you don't have insurance or are in between insurances. They are inexpensive if you don't have health coverage. One day I thought I was having an allergic reaction to bug bite (which turned out to he a horrible infection) they gave me antibiotics and explained everything I needed to know. They are the best, faith in humanity restored!!!
