Dr Elahi is one of the best eye doctors in NYC. Several doctors recommended him to me .He is very knowledgeable and explains everything and never rushes you . His staff is very sweet and answers all questions . I had a very thorough eye exam and he gave me many options for treatment . Aside from being very smart , he has a great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr Elahi .

I cannot begin to tell you how much Dr. Elahi has improved my quality of life. I have had dry eyes for decades after I started wearing contact lenses. To compensate, I used to yawn all the time in order to generate tear production. He placed plugs in my punctum that completely changed my life. A better ophthalmologist than Dr. Elahi you will not be able to find. Not only is he brilliant, he also has the best bedside manners, which cannot be taught. As a physician, I refer all my patients, friends and family to Dr. Elahi.

This entire staff took me in on a moment's notice when I was experiencing a worrying eye issue (as an out of town vacationer) and Dr Elahi personally called his associates to get me handed off for a same afternoon surgical appointment. Such quick action likely saved my vision. The extra followup calls by his staff speaks to the care they give.

Dr. Elahi is by far the best and most pleasant doctor I’ve visited. Well-informed, polite, and genuinely concerned about the well-being of his patients, the results of his work are always outstanding. It can be challenging to get an appointment because he’s usually booked months in advance!
