10/10 Dr. Ahmed is very personable and truly cares about your health

Dr. Ahmed is patient and kind. He doesn’t rush through his patients as though they were on a conveyor belt. He explains everything and answers questions. I would definitely recommend him. He has been my monitoring my hypothyroidism for over 5 years and I feel great!

I've been suffering from hyperthyroidism for the last couple of months. When I was diagnosed my PCP Initially prescribed 5 mg Methimazole everyday. & I was quite comfortable with that for two weeks. Then when I saw Dr Ahmed he prescribed me 30 mg in the morning & 30 in the night. Didn't feel right to me. I asked him about 10 & 10. He didn't listen to what I wanted to say. & then within a month after doing blood work he said my TSH went very low, so I'll have to stop the Med completely for two weeks & do blood work again. I asked him what if I might feel bad or something. He strongly said- no you won't. But was all wrong. I started feeling bad within couple of days. Felt like he was experimenting. Tried to reach him but it wasn't easy. Bad experience overall🙁🙁

I have not even seen the doctor yet, as far as him treating me but I had altercation with one of the staff was unprofessional with me over the phone. His name was Dexter, he hung up in my face as I was trying to find out information as to what I need to bring to the doctor as gar as my medical history. I went over to the office immediately after to speak with his supervisor. I was even more disrespected when trying to explain his behavior to the Dr. Ziad Ahmed. The doctor allowed him to be in the room with us, I did not think anything of it at first but he began to be very irate, and was all in my face, booted up as though he was he was going to hit me! calling me a liar as to what transpired over the phone. I took it as a "immediately threat" to my safety. I had to tell him he needs to step back out of my face. As a patient I felt he needed to be is terminated for the mere fact that he posed a physical threat to the patient. That type of threatening behavior would not be tolerated at any other establishment. The individual is still there today.

The office space was clean and comfortable not a lot of patients something I was hoping for. The receptionist was polite and friendly, however, with all of the modern technology I was shocked that they did not utilize Google or Apple Pay for my Co-pay only cash or check none of which I had on me. As a result I was unable to see the doctor. I was very disappointed especially after researching doctors for a period of time he was everything I was looking for.
