Warren Appleman, MD

Dr. Appleman is very pleasant gentleman and quite methodical in his approach, he has excellent bedside manner and I am quite happy to have met him when I needed an eye consultation. He listened, answered all of my multiple questions, alleviated my concerns about my eyes, and wrote a customized prescription based on my individual preferences and needs. It is a true rarity to find a medical professional in this day and age that takes his time to understand and be attentive to the patient, and Dr. Appleman certainly does both of these things expertly. I found his office to be neat, clean, and organized, with friendly and accommodating support staff. Although I don't live in Manhattan, I would gladly take a trip uptown to see Dr. Appleman for my next appointment.

DO NOT recommend. I made an appointment through "zocdoc" for 8:30am. Arrived 15 min early. Waited 10 min. No one opened the door, answered the door bell. I arranged my whole day around this appointment, extremely unprofessional to allow patients who are probably in need of medical care to book an appointment and your office isn't even open.

I was very happy with my experience with this doctor. Very nice bedside manner, and the staff was excellent.

I was not happy with him after I visited his office about glaucoma.
