Dr. Friedman is an exceptional doctor. He spends an extensive amount of face to face time during each visit. He gave me a diagnosis that no other doctor could figure out. My condition was corrected through his diagnosis with surgery. (Achalasia patient)

I came in for abdominal pain following a harsh dose of antibiotics. At the time, I had trouble eating without pain and was very concerned. Dr. Friedman basically poked around my abdomen and proceeded to tell me that I was anxious and should go on anti anxiety medication. I don't know how a GI doctor can make such a recommendation for psychiatric medication??? ( I am 23, was on vacation, and had nothing to stress about) In the end, I was told simply to go on a probiotic and was sent home. I never saw this doctor again. I took the probiotics suggested and did not heal. 5 months later I still am suffering with GI issues and consulted other doctors who at least allowed me to do some type of workup before suggesting a solution beyond their own field.

Excellent doctor I'm sorry he moved out of Rockville center now. I need him but I can't get there cause I'm disabled so I'll have to go to the hospital directly so I have a condition looked at.
