Dr. Sam L Cosentino, DDS

Extremely displeased with this dental office and more so its staff. I had decided to make this dentist my primary for dental under my insurance. I had called the office to make an emergency appointment due to a broken tooth (to at least get started on antibiotics, etc). Instead the office personnel gives the run around saying they only accept patients that have been there for quite some time (which is complete bull), secondly the staff makes up this lie that the insurance mailed them (get this in less than 24 hours...???) a letter stating that I had filed a "complaint" against them and because of that I could not see them. Which by the way, I called the insurance and happened to ask if they were contacted by said office, about a "complaint" or anything being done..and no...nothing. Only call that was made to the insurance was mine, asking to make Dr. Sam Cosentino's office my primary dental. Why the staff would have the nerve to make up such a horrendous lie, I do not know. That is not professional of the staff, and if the dentist is not aware of how his staff is handling his potential clientele and current patients, well sadly the dentist will not be getting good reviews from many. I never got to meet Dr. Cosentino due to how his staff decided to act, not just towards me (but to my recollection towards many people). To my knowledge, the dentist himself is good, however the staff is blasphemous. It's apparent that while the dentist himself cares about his reputation, his potential patients, and patients who he has been seeing, the staff does not care!!! If you are looking for a caring dental family, I recommend that you DO NOT go here.

i encounter a friendly staff. I had my first cleaning in years with no pain. Courteous and attentive staff. The doctor was pleasant, professional and informative. His prices were excellent compared to the neighboring Dentists. I recommend this Dentist.

Dr. Sam Cosentino and his staff are professionals who give high quality care at an affordable price. My family have been treated by this fine dentist for a number of years. They are involved with the community and do an excellent job of providing dental information to their customers. The bi-lingual staff, of Spanish and English, provides a great resource not only for this business, but to the surrounding community. Dr. Cosentino has been involved in numerous health oriented New York based organizations. And, has won numerous awards for excellence. The facility is clean, well maintained and, friendly. Dr. Cosentino and his staff, give clear and concise information about medications, procedures, and follow-up visits. The staff and Dr. Cosentino will call a patient in order to gauge how that patient is doing. A safe, clean, friendly, environment, with a professional staff, whose only concern is the patient’s well- being, is hard to find. All I can do is thank them for all that they do.

Had horrible toothache thursday nite . Called Dr. Cosentino"s office Friday morning as an emergency . Staff promptly and politely worked me into his schedule . When i arrived at his office I was seen promptly even though I was an emergency . Dr Cosentino quickly put me at ease. In no time at all he repaired a deep cavity under an old filling painlessly .Many Thanks Dr Cosentino now I can enjoy Thanksgiving !

Before coming here. I was going to dental spa across the street very very disturbing the experiences i had there instead of helping me they would neglect problems i had to then hussle me for money. Now when i went to dr sam cosentino i didnt have to explain much and right away he knew the help i needed my second time there and i never felt so calm and relaxed. Very clean place and the professionalism is outstanding im very happy to have found this Dr. Thanks doc.
