I can’t say enough about Dr. Salima Alvani—she is an outstanding healthcare professional. I first visited her a few months ago after being diagnosed with hypertension and elevated triglycerides, and she has truly helped me bring my numbers down. Dr. Alvani is dedicated, thorough, and really takes the time to carefully evaluate each patient’s health. She’s also wonderfully disciplined—in the best way—which gave me confidence in my treatment plan. I also want to give a special shoutout to a really warm front desk staff member—she always greets us with a smile; I believe she’s of Guyanese descent. The whole team is just fantastic. If you’re dealing with hypertension or any chronic condition that requires detailed care, I highly recommend Dr. Alvani. We’re so lucky to have her in the Fresh Meadows, Jamaica Estates area!

if you want to be put on hold and sent on a wild goose chase for clarity on test results, go here. This clinic’s only saving grace was the PA student Michelle who actually listened & took patient acuity into account when assessing someone. Otherwise? I didn’t feel comfortable at all. Their front desk staff make faces at you if you’re not the usual demographic, and give you the most VAGUE answers when asked about policy. My urine sample was contaminated from lack of instruction of a clean or dirty catch, and despite saying i have no urinary symptoms, i was told i have to come back to retest for an infection. They refused to give me blood results over the phone and insisted i come in, clearly a tactic to double charge your insurance; got the nerve to question my work schedule to work around THEM. They offer no telehealth options, not worker friendly at all. Avoid them if you don’t want unnecessary stress for your own health info. edit: so not only did they refuse to give me my blood results, they scheduled a followup behind my back A MONTH after i explicitly told them i’ll no longer follow up with the office. This clinic is a damn disgrace, absolute shame on you Dr. Alwani. Your front desk staff are full of mean girls who never grew out of high school, and have no interest in real, human patient care.

The best doctor! a very clean place, the people who work there are very friendly and professional. I will definitely come back! super recommended. Furthermore, Dr. Salima A is excellent at doing blood work. I was very scared but with her it was quick and it didn't hurt. she has blessed hands .
