Have been trying to schedule an appointment with the doctor for a few months now. They ask you to text to schedule but never text you back. When I call I'm placed on hold indefinitely, and that's the few times that I can actually get through to a receptionist. After seeing all of the reviews about 3 to 5 hour wait times for a doctor, I'm completely turned off by this practice. That is absolutely ridiculous and it's a shame that it's so hard to find good professional medical providers and practices in our community!

I’m unable to update my original review, so I’m posting my updated experience here and unfortunately, it remains a negative one. After waiting months for my test results, I was told I could not receive them without paying $40 for another appointment because the doctor needed to review them with me. I scheduled two telehealth visits, but neither took place because I was never sent a link, despite being told otherwise each time I called. The woman who answers ( not the front desk lady) the phone was consistently rude, unhelpful, and had zero idea how their own telehealth process works. Since I was going to have to pay anyway, I scheduled an in-person appointment for 10:00 AM. I arrived on time and waited until 11:00 AM before being called back. After having my blood pressure and weight taken, the staff member actually tried to sell me homemade Mother’s Day gifts she had made, which was highly unprofessional. I was then sent back to the waiting room, where I waited another 30 minutes. By 11:35 AM, I asked when I would finally be seen because I had to go to work. The doctor eventually came in, and he asked ME what test did I take. I told him I wasn’t sure and tried to explain how difficult it was to get the results he was unfazed, unapologetic and simply printed out the results which I had been told could not be released without an appointment, and simply told me they were available at the front desk. There was no explanation, no discussion, and no effort to address my concerns. After months of CT scans, blood work, delays, and poor communication, I still have no real answers. The entire experience felt disorganized, unprofessional, and there number one goal is to collect that $40 more than providing quality patient care. The only staff member who was consistently helpful was the younger woman at the front desk with the glasses. I hope I actually never have to come back here in my life again.

I’ve been going to Kazeem for years he’s a great Dr very knowledgeable. however, some of the employees are incompetent in that office. Imagine I had to wait over 30 days for meds one time because prior authorization was needed. I kept getting the run around until I spoke with a very helpful young lady name Amy who resolved the matter immediately. As for my last recent visit that occurred via video, I sat waiting for the link and didn’t receive it. When I called the office his assistant’s excuse was that she’s having a bad day. ever since that last visit I’ve been trying to get an appt and I’ve been unsuccessful. I keep getting the run around for whatever reason . They keep telling me someone will call me back , yet no one called. This is beyond disgusting and frustrating.

Dr. Kazeem is my Thyroid Dr. From Be Well Medical Center and after he left Be Well, I searched for him everywhere until i found him at Elk Medical.. He goes above and beyond for his patients.. I can never get use to a next endocrinologist only Dr. KAZEEM.. He is the best and well knowledgeable in his field. I highly recommend him to any thyroid patient.

The whole staff of Elk are exceptional nice and caring to all the patients. DR. Kazeem and Karishma really are the best. They are so intelligent and knowledgeable in the medical field, but still find time to be caring and devoted to their patients in every way. Thank you for your guidance all the time. Sam
