Dr. Borges- is the Doctor to see. He’s compassionate, caring, listens and most importantly he has bedside manner. Majority of doctors don’t have that, or they lost it along the way. When I was in the hospital, he came and seen me. What doc’s do that? His front office staff is very pleasant and they make sure everything is scheduled and ready to go. His office is very clean and clutter free. I picked him as my primary care physician due to the above. I’ve been seeing him for a very long time. Give him a chance, you cannot go wrong.

Dr. Borges is a wonderful and devoted doctor to his patients. He is kind, compassionate and caring to his patients and making them better. The staff is always helpful and goes out of their way for everyone. I highly recommend Dr. Borges.

Dr. Borgest is a great doctor and has been my PCP for years. However, I am only rating him 4 stars for the fact that when I asked him to recommend me an eye specialist, he said we have someone that comes here on Tuesday. The day of the appointment I go there 5 mins late, I told the receptionist, and all was good so far. After 15 minutes waiting in the reception area, I see someone coming in with a big suitcase who appologized to the receptionist for being late cause of road traffic (later found out it was the eye specialist). When I was called in, I entered the same exact room that nurse does my regular checkup for years. I see two machines, his eye equipment which was covered with dust or something, another big equipment that was unplugged and the doctor who was looking for outlet to plug it in. Clearly, he was new to this office. Was this his first time there?! Next, the eye doctor tells me that he comes here because he knows doctor Borges and he doesn't have the office here--well doctor, not hard to tell that, you took the nurses spot!!! He recommends me his office to go and do a thorough check at the "real office." I go out to the receptionist area (by the way very nice ladies work there), they had no clue what was my copay, hell even worst the doctor comes behind me introducing himself to them. Then they tell me to pay in cash cause the machine wasn't working. Well I had no cash, and I told them I could leave my credit card information but she insisted in cash. That's when I decided to review this situation. What let's me believe as a patient? This doctor may be the best doctor in NY, but not in this office, he seemed to me he is sneaking in to pull some extra shifts!! Again, he may be excellent, but what I saw draw me away. Even a bigger concern is raised--after this, can I still trust Dr. Borges?!

Is this guy a quack? I've already had two appointments canceled with no warning. Receptionists continue to give out misinformation.
