Dr. Robert Steven Adelman, DPM

I saw Dr. Adelman years ago. He was friendly, kind, and very gentle with my heel spurs. I had two sets of orthotics made. A sports orthotics because at the time I fenced and a slimthotic for dress shoes. I still have both sets. At the time he didn't accept most insurances but he did provide the information I needed to file with my insurance and I was reimbursed. Haven't seen him in ages because I am no longer in any pain due to his treatment.

I went to visit this Doctor, he told me that I have to get an Custom Foot Orthoses to help my plantar fasciitis. He said "for my experience insurance "DON'T COVER OR JUST COVER MAYBE $100" of the full price. He told me that he can make it for me for just $695. He did not write any prescription for this device, but he schedule a 30 min consultation because I wanted to start asap. I called my insurance and the cost is just $299 and my insurance cover it all. This Doctor lied and tried to scam me.
