Dr Robert J. Allen Jr MD at MSK is an excellent Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He operated on me in 2021 at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital. Dr Allen closed my melanoma surgery on the right side of my face, from the top of my nose down to the bottom of my lower lip. 5 years later, people say they don’t even notice the scare unless I mention it. He is an amazing surgeon and I owe him for saving my Handsome looks 😊 I highly recommend Dr Robert J. Allen if you need an excellent plastic and/or reconstructive surgeon. Dr Allen was disappointing. After my double mastectomy my healthy right breast dropped 4 inches ower than my left due to the stitches coming out of the breast expander. His response was cold and uncaring, stating that happens sometimes. He offered no apology or remedy. It has been 7 months of pain and I am now seeking my reconstruction at a different hospital. Its a shame thar MSK is not what it once was.

Absolutely love Dr.Allen. Had TNBC and had dmx with prep for reconstruction. Ran into a problem from no fault but my own putting a heating pad on and had to get one expander out because of necrosis. Dr Allen was so patient and understanding and also very funny. Have been seeing him for the last year and half and he was very thorough in his explanations of procedures. Decided to go flat in the long run and explained in full detail what I would go through. His bed side manner is wonderful! The office in Basking Ridge is very efficient and his staff are amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Allen for any type of reconstruction you have to get due to Breast Cancer.
