Dr. Qing Ding was the worst part of my experience at Bellevue Hospital. I was admitted to the ER and Dr. Ding performed necessary surgery on me. Her team is INCREDIBLE, shared all necessary information, made me feel confident in their care, etc. Upon meeting Dr. Ding I was incredibly disappointed in her bedside manner - which is none. Just before surgery she lost all of my trust in the hospital and care - she showed zero compassion, empathy or attention to detail in her communication. Further, she NEVER followed up following surgery. I received my pathology results THREE WEEKS later than when they were available because of her negligence. It's a surgeon's / doctor's responsibility to provide a certain level of care, especially to surgical patients, and not only did I receive no care from her, despite following up with the hospital daily for weeks on end, but she withheld pathology results, impacting my post-operative and ongoing care.

In sum, do not waste your money and time with this very unprofessional and rude physician. Qing Ding is very impatient and careless. The first two questions to me were “do you have insurance”. I don’t know why she had to ask twice and when I already had dealt with all the administrative stuff. She saw me superficially, fast and ended with an “OMG that is a lot”. She made me buy a lotion. She does not listen, she could not care less.

Dr. Qing Ding is a negligent doctor whose work style is irresponsible and lacks compassion. She delayed thorough examination of my condition until it developed into a more serious stage.
